1-week itinerary
Day 1: Departing from St Tropez
Your skipper will be waiting for you at the port of St Tropez to help you board one of our luxury catamarans. After giving you a quick tour of the boat and telling you about some safety rules and your itinerary, you will set sail to your first destination, where you will stay overnight: Moutte beach, situated near the Cap de St Tropez. You will be able to swim and enjoy your first delicious meal made by your personal chef onboard.
Day 2: Sailing on a luxury catamaran to the Ile d’Or island
You will leave in the morning and head to Ile d’Or Island, which is about 1,5 hours away. During the journey, you will be able to fish or even help your skipper sail the catamaran, weather permitting. Or you can simply relax and sunbathe on the deck. You will drop anchor at the bottom of the Tower which, despite what one might think, isn’t very old. The island is private property, but you will still be able to enjoy the surroundings.
Day 3: Docking at the Maubois rocky inlet
Just before reaching Cannes Bay, you will be able to explore the Maubois rocky inlet. Your skipper will take you there on your third day. The rocky inlet is still very wild and has two different beaches close by, which are the perfect places to relax, enjoy the beautiful weather and snorkel. If you like fishing, you can try to catch a fish for dinner. Your personal chef will gladly cook it for you!
Day 4: Lérins Islands
The next day, you will set sail for the Lérins Islands, not too far from Cannes. These 2 islands, a tourist’s favorite, are a must-see. You will be able to swim in crystal-clear water and enjoy water activities thanks to the equipment provided on the Marine Vela boat. If you wish, your skipper will take you on land so you can explore Fort Royal and the Lérins Abbay.
Day 5: Villefranche Bay and St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
On your fifth day of the cruise, you will explore 2 iconic places on the French Riviera. In the late morning, you will get to Villefranche-sur-mer Bay and its countless beaches and beautiful spots. In the east, you will be able to see St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, where many celebrities bought a vacation home. Two gorgeous creeks, Anse des Fossés and Anse des Fossettes, are nearby. You will be able to stop by the rocks and enjoy the blue water.
Day 6: Monaco and Cap Martin
You will leave in the early morning to go to the Principality of Monaco and Cap Martin. During the 1,5-hour journey to get there, you will be amazed by the beautiful landscapes. Right after Monaco, you will dock in Cap Martin. The water there is bright blue and perfect for swimming and snorkeling, but also to enjoy fun water activities such as paddleboarding. Tell your skipper what you feel like doing, he will make it happen!
Day 7: Back to St Tropez and layover in Antibes
You will set sail in the early morning to head back west to St Tropez. During the 6,5-hour journey, you can enjoy all of our premium amenities onboard. You can also do some fishing and help your skipper sail the boat. At noon, you will have a layover near the port of Antibes to swim and enjoy a delicious meal. You will then head back to St Tropez in the mid-afternoon and reach it by 6:30-7pm.
Day 8: Check-out
Your cruise on the French Riviera with Marine Vela is coming to an end. Your skipper will help you check out and you will be able to leave the boat around 10 am. Then, feel free to explore the city of St Tropez and its iconic spots, such as the Senequier café or the Citadelle and the museum.
