1-week itinerary

Day 1: Start of the cruise in the port of Hyères

Meet your skipper, your personal chef and your Marine Vela catamaran in the port of Hyères at 6 pm. After giving you a tour of the boat and telling you about your itinerary, your skipper will set sail for your first destination, Badine Beach. This spot is very popular amongst surfers. The next day, you will be able to enjoy many water activities, including wakeboarding and paddle boarding.

Day 2: Heading to Porquerolles and Langoustier Beach

Situated an hour away from Badin Beach, Langoustier Beach is a must-see, conveniently protected from the west winds. Thanks to its crystal clear water and many types of fish, Langoustier Beach is a great place to snorkel. You will also have the opportunity to get off the boat and explore Langoustier Fort. If you are feeling hungry, there is a delicious restaurant on the opposite bay.

Day 3: Notre-Dame Beach

On the same island, Notre-Dame Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Porquerolles. The blue water is perfect for swimming, wakeboarding and paddle boarding. You can also ask your skipper to take you to the land and walk 20 minutes to Porquerolles. In the village, you will find many shops, a central place and a winery, where you can buy wine made locally on the island. You can also rent bicycles to explore the trails of Porquerolles.

Day 4: Galère Beach and Port-Cros Island

You will spend your fourth day onboard your Marine Vela catamaran on the east coast of Porquerolles Island and explore Galère Beach in the morning. Situated at the bottom of cliffs, this part of the island is wild and beautiful. After lunch, you will set sail for Port-Cros Island. As a nature reserve, this island is known for its abundant wildlife. Groupers, barracudas, brown meagres… Many types of fish can be found in this area. You will then drop anchor on the eastern part of the island in Port Mans Bay, overlooked by a fort.

Day 5: Cap Taillat

You will leave Port Mans in the afternoon to head to your next destination: Cap Taillat. During the journey, you will be able to fish and admire the beautiful scenery. You will sail by “l’île du Levant”, an island used as a military base that is off-limits for tourists. Cap Taillat is a good spot for water activities and fishing. You can also ask your skipper to dock at the beach.

Day 6: Brégançon

Let’s head west for your sixth day of sailing with Marine Vela. You will drop anchor near the Brégançon Fort, where a lot of French Presidents like to spend their summer breaks. The beaches around the fort have vibrant blue water that can be compared to Caribbean beaches. You can enjoy this beautiful place and sunbathe on your catamaran. If you want to be active, many nautical activities can be enjoyed.

Day 7: Exploring Pellegrin Beach and back to Hyères

For your last day on the cruise, we will take you to the many beaches between Brégançon and Pellegrin. This area offers beautiful beaches, Estagnol Beach being the most loved. In the late afternoon, you will head back to the port of Hyères to spend your last night on board your luxury catamaran. Feel free to explore the city! Many restaurants offer food made with quality, local ingredients. Our personal favorites: Cap ô couleurs and U PRIMU.

Day 8: End of the cruise

Your cruise with Marine Vela is coming to an end! Your skipper will help you check-out and you will be able to leave the boat around 10 am. Feel free to explore the city center of Hyères, situated just a few minutes away from the port. Many shops and craftsmen sell local products. If you enjoyed this tour, Marine Vela also offers many itineraries in Corsica and Sardinia.
